Alyssa Betts

Alyssa is our amazing receptionist and the smiling face on the end of the phone. Alyssa is the go-to for all your bookings and enquiries, and is the general organiser of all things Trend Physio.

Alyssa has years of experience and is a huge asset to the Trend Physio family - we would be lost without her!

On her days off you will find Alyssa running, adventuring with her dog April, and making memories with her friends and family.

Andrew Alexander

APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Director

With a decade of clinical experience, Andrew has developed a passion for assisting people with challenging cases. His work has taken him from stadiums, to gyms, to expert clinics, and everywhere in between. Working with International, State of Origin, NRLW and NRL level Rugby League players over the last few years has diversified his skill set and honed his on-field and return-to-sport practices.

In the clinic, his interest in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and headaches has been rewarding, helping many who have suffered for years. His post-graduate certificate and Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy have elevated his care of all issues, head to toe. Andrew prides his practice on holistic management using a range of techniques like dry needling, splinting, manual therapy, casting, and advanced exercise knowledge.

Phoebe Alexander

Paediatric & Disability Physiotherapist, Certified Kids Yoga Teacher, Director

Phoebe holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle and over the past decade, she has been working exclusively in paediatric and disability roles. With a passion for helping people achieve their movement goals, she is determined to make the Central Coast a more accessible place for people with a disability to be fit and active.

Phoebe is the former owner of Coast Movement Physio, a mobile service she started in 2020. Inspired by the success of this, Phoebe and Andrew decided to combine their skills and visions for inclusive, modern, and holistic health care., opening Trend Physio.

A proud mum to two beautiful children, Phoebe is well versed in infant and child development. She is a firm believer in empowering parents and carers, and regularly attends post-natal courses as a paediatric physiotherapy guest speaker.

As a certified Kid’s Yoga Teacher, Phoebe combines fun and flexibility to her sessions.

Phoebe loves to read (when she gets a chance) and is the most competitive person at board game night (and all aspects of life).

Blake Harrington

Physiotherapist

Blake moved to the Central Coast from a young age and has grown up most of his life on the Central Coast. Through his younger years he participated in multiple sporting codes such as rugby league, rugby union, cricket, Oz tag and touch footy. Blake graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours) from University of Newcastle. During his studies he worked as an allied health assistant at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital for 3 years in the rehabilitation and orthopaedic settings.

Post graduating Blake has continued his knowledge by completing courses in musculoskeletal interests and gaining his certificate in Immediate Care in sport Level 2 Rugby Union through World Rugby and Rugby Australia.

Blake has always had an interest in physical activity and sporting worlds. Over the years Blake has worked with multiple sporting teams which has taken him from the Central Coast to interstate and internationally.

Blake has a clinical interest in shoulder injuries, lower limb injuries and injury prevention. This resulted in him developing a passion for working with clients to rehabilitate their injuries and assist them returning to their chosen activity. Blake believes a successful rehabilitation involves a collaborative approach with the client.

Mike Harvey

Physiotherapist, Neurological, Respiratory and mobility/fall prevention

Mike brings 17 years of clinical experience in the public health system and has a Masters of Physiotherapy from University of Sydney.

In Mike’s career he has enjoyed working with people living with complex respiratory conditions, progressive neurological conditions, and have developed expertise in falls prevention assessment and treatment.

These services are currently under-serviced and have several-month waiting lists through NSW Health.

Mike helps people with difficulty breathing and shortness of breath, trouble clearing secretions (particularly with Motor Neuron Disease), poor balance and those at risk of falling.

Mike’s available for appointments on Saturday.

Cody Barrett

Physiotherapist

Cody is an ever positive Physio who is passionate about helping those with disabilities and developmental issues. He is experienced in neurological disorders and engaging his patients through an active management style.

Whether he is making splints and casts, developing rehab programs or working side-by-side with his clients, Cody is in his element.

Cody is a sportsman as well, playing soccer for East Gosford and is a die-hard Cronulla Sharks fan.

Liam Pattison

Liam is a highly experienced physiotherapist specialising in knee and shoulder conditions, with a unique focus on bodybuilding and strength training injuries. Kelly comes from a background in mental health nursing and yoga therapy and joins our team with ten plus years of experience in body work.

Kelly uses a range of techniques for best results including trigger point, myofascial release, remedial and relaxation, whilst incorporating hot stones at times and using passive movements and stretching to increase functional range of movement, decrease pain and restore and rehabilitate from injury.

Kelly’s treatments also aim to help you relax and let go of daily life stressors and feel at your best with your chosen favourite sport or activity.

It’s always been rewarding to have peaceful happy clients walking out after treatments.

In her spare time Kelly loves exploring beautiful places in nature and also has a passion for wildlife photography.
